Welcome to My Studio Hire

 

We’re here to make booking a session easy and stress-free. Here’s all you need to know:

Booking a Session

 

To book a session with us, simply email info@mystudiohire.com or use our online booking form. 

 

Once we’ve confirmed your booking, we’ll gather any other details we need and send you an invoice. Depending on your booking date, we’ll ask for either a 50% or full payment upfront.

 

Please note: Your booking is officially confirmed once payment has been received and you receive your confirmation email from us. If you need a different arrangement, just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

 

Payment is due on the day of your booking after we issue the final invoice with any additional charges added. 

 

If payments are made late, a £10 fee will apply every seven days along with interest (unless previously agreed upon with us in writing). 

 

Studio Guidelines

 

We kindly ask that you leave the studio as you found it—clean, tidy, and with everything back in its original spot. 

 

- Please make sure to turn off and properly store any lighting equipment after use.

- Clients are responsible for any repairs or replacements for items damaged due to improper use.

- Let us know in advance if you’d like to add decorations, move furniture, or bring extra items.

We’re happy to approve most changes in writing.

 

Also, please avoid using gaffer tape on the wooden floor. For your convenience and safety,

we have cable ramps available to cover cables.

 

Studio Hours

 

Our regular hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Need a different schedule? Just give us a heads-up, and we’ll see what we can do.

 

Please arrive on time and make sure to leave enough time for packing up and tidying the space.

We provide a 15-minute grace period for wrap-up.

If you go beyond this, extra time will be billed in 30-minute increments at £50/hour.

 

For example:

- Ending at 6:15 p.m. – No extra charge

- Ending at 6:20 p.m. – Additional £25

- Ending at 6:31 p.m. – Additional £50

 

If you think you’ll need more time, just reach out as soon as possible.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

We get that plans can change. If you need to cancel, here’s what you can expect:

 

- More than 7 Days Before the Booking Date: Full refund.

- Between 7 Days and 48 Hours Before the Booking Date: The deposit is non-refundable, but you can reschedule your session within one month of the original date.

- Less than 48 Hours Before the Booking Date: Refunds and rescheduling aren’t available, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 

Insurance

 

We ask clients to secure their own public liability insurance, as our studio insurance doesn’t cover client activities. Clients are also responsible for insuring any personal items brought to the studio.

 

Additional Info

 

When you book with us, the entire studio—including the shooting and makeup areas—is yours to use. However, please note that a member of our team may be in the office area for security purposes during your session.

 

Parking: 1 FREE all day parking permit apon request,

additional permits can be purchased at £5 each. 

Otherwise there is free parking on Chestnut Grove but you will need to move between 10:30 and 11:30.

Soundproofing: Please be aware that our studio is not soundproofed.

Restrictions: We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking and consuming alcohol in the studio.

Decorative Restrictions: To keep the space safe, please avoid bringing glitter, candles, feathers, sand, or paint without prior approval.

Pets: Pets are more than welcome! Just make sure they’re supervised to avoid any potential damage.
